Fireside is an experiential dreamwork group from Hearthlight Counseling. For a long time, I have wanted to form a group to bring dreamers together and foster a community of reverence for the dreamworld and the insight it can provide. The time is finally right to bring this idea to life, and I couldn’t be more excited to share it with the Denton community. Please read on for more information and to determine if this group is right for you.
Welcome to Fireside
What is Fireside?
Fireside is an experiential dreamwork group facilitated by Braden Weinmann, M.S., Licensed Professional Counselor. Fireside will be a weekly gathering for dreamers to re-experience their dreams in the trust and safety of a closed circle.
Each week, dreamers will be invited to bring their dreams to the group and engage in reflection to re-access thoughts and emotions that were elicited in the dream. Braden will use experiential dreamwork techniques to promote dream recall and exploration of the dream landscape. Deeper insight from the dream may be revealed, as well as possible inspiration for waking-life action.
Other group participants may be invited to share their responses and associations to another member’s dream after giving the sharer time to process.
